COL. GRAHAM PASSES
We have learned that Col. Graham has passed away on Saturday 9 July after battling  serious health problems for several years. He was 78.
His wife, Helga, has said that "He died at peace in our home with family taking care of him lovingly."

Colonel, U. S. Army (Ret.)
Sept. 8, 1931 - July 9, 2010

Born in Newdale, Idaho, Tas enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1952. After a 27-year distinguished career which included command of the 54th Eng. Bn., he retired in 1979 as Colonel in the Corps of Engineers.

His professionalism, dedication, and integrity were recognized by those who served with him. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

After retirement to West Virginia, he served for a decade as an EMT, and 20 years as a volunteer fireman.

His wife of 52 years, Helga; two sons, Carl (Marion), Andrew (Carrie); two daughters, Annette (John), and Kathy (Stan); and nine grandchildren are thankful for his life and mourn his passing.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA on July 30, 2010.
