Bill Today
Where were you in 1966? Well, if your name was Bill Belisle you were up on The Hill working as the editor for The Blazer, the 54th Engr Bn newspaper thru 1965 & 1966.
Bill was a 12B20 just like us but was lucky to land this editor job and even wrote some for Stars and Stripes newspaper.
Bill was with A. Co. and he and his wife Jeanne lived off-base in Bruckenau. Their son, Billy, was born at the dispensary on The Hill, a true Wildflecken hero. Bill has more Blazers tucked away at home in Southampton, Mass. and has promised to send more to post on our website. Great work Bill!
